Intensive: Wheel Throwing for Beginners

This course is designed to give beginners an introduction to the fundamentals of making pottery on the wheel: throwing, trimming, and glazing. We will also cover altering your piece, attaching handles, and using engobes.

Over five sessions of 2.5 hours each, there will be ample time for practice, and the small group setting allows for plenty of guidance by our experienced teachers.

After the course, you are ready to continue making ceramics during our open studio time, or continue with an intermediate class. All class participants are eligible for a discount of 50.00 EUR for an open studio package.

All materials and tools are provided. Firing fees are included.
